SK hynix plans to open a new branch office at Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, as early as the second half of this year.
According to the industry on the 11th, SK hynix informed employees of this at the 'The Together Communication Event' held the previous day at the Cheongju campus.
SK hynix has been operating branch offices to support members in working without being confined by physical distance. Currently, SK hynix's branch offices are located in four places: Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul; Sogang University in Mapo-gu, Seoul; Mirae Asset Center One in Euljiro, Seoul; and Doosan Tower in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province.
It is known that SK hynix is promoting the establishment of a new branch office at Korea University to further enhance accessibility for members in the northern part of Seoul. This is interpreted as a way to proactively secure talent by expanding communication and touchpoints with Korea University students. SK hynix is currently operating semiconductor contract departments at Korea University and Sogang University.
However, it has been reported that the branch office in Walkerhill Hotel among the existing four will soon cease operations.
SK hynix is also expected to consider plans to establish additional branch offices to expand accessibility for members in the future.
