As Homeplus enters corporate rehabilitation procedures (court receivership), LG Electronics has temporarily suspended product deliveries, prompting partner companies to devise response measures.

According to the industry on the 6th, LG Electronics has temporarily suspended shipments of products supplied to Homeplus. However, it is reported that some stores are still selling products depending on stock availability.

An LG Electronics official noted, "We have temporarily paused shipments as a risk response measure, but we are discussing normalization plans with Homeplus to minimize customer inconvenience."

Samsung Electronics is also monitoring the situation and discussing countermeasures. An official from Samsung Electronics stated, "We have not yet suspended shipments, but the situation is changing rapidly, and we are preparing measures."

Among suppliers, concerns are growing that they may not receive payments depending on the progress of Homeplus's rehabilitation procedures, leading to a gradual increase in those reducing delivery volumes or suspending shipments.

However, Homeplus maintains that it will process commercial receivables normally and operate its stores as usual.
