Line Next announced that the cumulative number of users for its mini decentralized application (dApp), based on the Line messenger, reached 35 million within a month of its release on the 6th. The mini dApp allows users to experience games, social interactions, and content through the dApp portal or the official Line accounts of each dApp without requiring a separate app installation.
In just 10 days after launch, it recorded 10 million registered users, demonstrating rapid growth. Major user countries include South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand, where there are many Line messenger users. The company noted that over 3 million new wallets have been created, with an average purchase amount per person of about $39.
So far, 42 mini dApps have been released, with some dApps reaching a cumulative user base of 1.7 million.
Koh Young Technology's CEO, Koh Young-su, said, "The mini dApp is showing remarkable results in major user countries, and various dApps are preparing for token listings, which will lead to further growth."
