Naver announced on the 27th that it will launch 'Naver Delivery,' an upgraded version of its existing 'Naver Arrival Guarantee,' in March. Naver Delivery will be subdivided into same-day delivery, next-day delivery, Sunday delivery, and desired date delivery, improving the ability for users to easily check when they will receive their products. In particular, same-day delivery guarantees delivery on the same day if an order is placed between midnight and 11 a.m., enhancing consumer convenience.
Through this service, Naver plans to emphasize fast delivery options when sorting products in conjunction with its AI-based shopping app, 'Naver Plus Store,' and to continuously improve its logistics platform by analyzing customer data. Additionally, there are plans to accelerate a virtuous cycle structure where delivery satisfaction leads to purchase rates.
Naver plans to shorten the average delivery time of the Naver Delivery service by up to 2 hours compared to the existing time by the end of the year, and to further improve the accuracy rate of delivery date predictions from 97%. If a user does not receive their product on the promised delivery date, they will be compensated with 1,000 won in Naver Pay points.
Additionally, 'Naver Plus' membership members can receive free shipping and free return and exchange benefits with purchases over 10,000 won, and Naver plans to support the expense incurred by sellers for returns and exchanges to encourage more participation.
Naver plans to gradually expand the regions for same-day delivery and Sunday delivery to broaden its services, and to introduce dawn delivery and immediate delivery.
