Samsung Electronics announced that it will sequentially launch new Bespoke refrigerator models with enhanced usability featuring artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and the 'Kitchen Fit Max' design starting from the 28th. With the newly introduced 'Kitchen Fit Max' design, consumers can install the refrigerator built-in, even if there's only a 4mm gap on either side.
Samsung Electronics applied a new technology that minimizes insulation thickness across the entire lineup of the Bespoke 'Kitchen Fit Max' refrigerator models. The 'Kitchen Fit Max' door has reduced the insulation thickness to 8mm, which is one-third of that of the existing Kitchen Fit refrigerator. This allows an approximately 22% larger storage space inside the door for beverages and sauces.
This year's 'Kitchen Fit Max' product lineup includes the 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max,' which is equipped with AI functionalities via a 9-inch screen and the 'AI Hybrid Cooling' feature using Peltier semiconductor elements, and the 'Bespoke Refrigerator 4-Door Kitchen Fit Max,' which maximizes interior space to 640L. A total of 19 models will be sequentially released based on capacity, color, and functions.
The 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max' model being launched on the 28th features a 9-inch touchscreen that allows users to conveniently utilize various AI functions. It offers 'Daily Board,' which summarizes personalized information such as weather, schedules, and meal recommendations, and 'AI Vision Inside,' which automatically recognizes food types when items are added or removed, creating a food list, along with the AI voice assistant 'Bixby' and other AI features.
The upgraded 2025 model 'AI Vision Inside' has expanded the types of fresh food it can recognize. It can automatically identify 37 types of fresh food, generating a food list as well. The newly added 'AI Food Manager' function helps manage frequently purchased processed and packaged foods. Once the food name is stored for the first time, it will be automatically recognized and registered in the food list afterward, capable of identifying and registering up to 50 types.
The 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max' refrigerator is equipped with 'AI Hybrid Cooling,' a function where the compressor and Peltier semiconductor elements operate together like a hybrid vehicle, achieving optimal efficiency. AI Hybrid Cooling is a feature that Samsung Electronics first applied to home refrigerators domestically last year, rapidly cooling in situations requiring powerful cooling while maximizing energy efficiency.
The 'Bespoke Refrigerator 4-Door Kitchen Fit Max' model has a maximum capacity of 640L, allowing for the storage of up to 25L more ingredients compared to the existing Kitchen Fit model.
The 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max' model, with a capacity of 602L, will start pre-sales from Samsung.com and Samsung Store between the 28th and March 5, with a retail price of 4.49 million won.
The 'Bespoke Refrigerator 4-Door Kitchen Fit Max' model with a capacity of 640L will begin pre-sales from Samsung.com and Samsung Store from the 6th to the 17th of next month, with retail prices ranging from 3.09 million won to 3.69 million won depending on the specific features.
