Riot Games announced on the 7th that ticket sales for the newly established international tournament 'First Stand' in 2025 will begin with Mastercard pre-sales on the 10th, followed by general sales starting on the 11th.
The First Stand will take place from March 10 to 16 at Rolpark in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The champion teams from five regional kickoff tournaments, including LCK (Korea), LCP (Asia-Pacific), LTA (Americas), LPL (China), and LEC (EMEA), will compete to determine the winner of the first international tournament.
The tournament will be conducted in a single round-robin format (best of three), from March 10 to 14, with the lowest team being eliminated. On the 15th and 16th, the top four teams will compete in a best of five single-elimination tournament to determine the final champion. The region of the winning team will receive an additional MSI (Mid-Season Invitational) direct qualification seed.
All matches of the First Stand will be conducted in a 'Fearless Draft' format, and tickets can be purchased through Interpark Ticket. General tickets will be available for purchase starting at 2 p.m. on the 11th, while Mastercard holders can pre-purchase tickets starting at 2 p.m. on the 10th. Ticket prices are 41,000 won on weekdays and 51,000 won on weekends.
Riot Games noted, 'First Stand will be the first international tournament where strong teams representing each region face off, and it will be an important event that creates a new competitive landscape.' They added, 'We will make every effort to provide matches that fans will be excited about and new experiences.'
