The artificial intelligence (AI) search startup Liner announced on the 5th that it will hold the 'Level Up 2025' event to help users enhance their information utilization capabilities with the arrival of the new year 2025. The event will showcase three new features that assist in user capability enhancement and offer benefits.

The first new feature is a shared folder for collaborative use. This feature is designed to efficiently manage researched materials and share them with friends or colleagues. Users can save information search results in project-specific folders and invite others to share the contents, reducing information gaps and facilitating more efficient and effective collaboration. Regardless of the number of members, multiple users can be invited, making it easy to use as a team or within a research group. Invited individuals can also directly search for content they wish to share within the shared folder.

The second feature is answer highlighting. This functionality allows for highlights on key parts of AI search responses, enabling users to add annotations or additional explanations, thereby maximizing the value of the answers. Answer highlighting, which allows users to organize and manage information more intuitively, can be easily accessed through dragging in the answer text area.

The third new feature is the essay mode, which has been officially launched after beta testing. Based on reliable information acquired through Liner, this feature allows users to draft essays and reports while analyzing individual writing styles to provide tailored drafts. The written essays clearly indicate sources, automatically generating citations in four formats commonly used in academia and journals.

Liner has also prepared benefits for college students, who are expected to make the best use of these three features. From today until March 31 during the 'Level Up 2025' campaign period, college students who sign up will receive a one-month free trial of Liner Professional. Students can avail of the event benefits by registering with accounts that end with '@ac.kr' for South Korean universities or '@schoolname.edu' for U.S. universities.
