NEXON GAMES announced on the 21st that its mobile collection role-playing game (RPG) 'Blue Archive,' which marks its fourth anniversary of service in Japan this February, has ranked first in revenue on the Japanese App Store.

'Blue Archive' recorded the top revenue ranking on the Japanese App Store as of the 20th, surpassing popular local games such as 'Pokemon Go,' 'Last War: Survival,' and 'Monster Strike.'

Earlier, NEXON GAMES held a large-scale offline event to celebrate its fourth anniversary at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Tokyo from the 17th to the 19th. During a live broadcast conducted during the event, they revealed information about the fourth-anniversary update, attracting more than 130,000 simultaneous viewers.

NEXON GAMES is set to host a variety of collaborative events in Japan for fans to enjoy in celebration of the fourth anniversary of 'Blue Archive' in February. At the Sapporo Snow Festival, it will showcase character sculptures from 'Blue Archive,' and through collaboration with the shopping mall 'Atre' located in Akihabara, Tokyo, it will debut large outdoor advertisements and a pop-up store.
