LG Uplus announced that it will give shopping coupons when purchasing the latest VOD for the Lunar New Year holiday, and it will hold a promotion on U+ Cock selling popular gifts such as nutritional supplements and household appliances at discounts of up to 94% on the 20th.
First, LG Uplus will gift Emart gift certificates (10,000 won, 250 people) through a lottery to customers who purchase more than one VOD of the latest films such as "Firefighter," "Large Family," "Wicked," and "Hidden Face" via U+tv from the 24th to the 2nd of next month. For purchasing two or more latest movie VODs, a 4,000 won TV coupon will be additionally given, and for three or more, a 9,000 won TV coupon will be provided.
During the Lunar New Year holiday period, a discount event for popular movie and performance VODs will also take place. U+tv customers can purchase over 50 popular films such as "Pilot," "Amazon Miracle Medicine," and "Love's Hatchuping" at prices discounted by up to 60%. Additionally, popular performances such as "Cirque du Soleil: Lucia," the circus production seen by 360 million people worldwide; "Cirque du Soleil: Curios;" the Korean original musical "Hero: Live in Cinema," which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year; and the musical film featuring Ok Joo-hyun, which surpassed 40,000 viewers, "Elisabeth: The Musical Live," will be available to watch at discounts of up to 70%.
In LG Uplus's movie subscription service "Uplay," exclusive content that the whole family can enjoy is also introduced for the Lunar New Year. Uplay will exclusively premiere the Chinese animation "Yusuan (Animals in Fantasy)" seasons 1-4 in Korea, and it will provide series movies including the popular crime city series (parts 1-4), the alien + human series (parts 1 and 2), and the drama "When Silver Bells Ring," produced by LG Uplus's content studio "STUDIO X+U."
Additionally, LG Uplus's data commerce "U+ Cock" will hold an event giving daily discount coupons for customers preparing Lunar New Year gifts. U+ Cock users can receive 10% (10 people), 7% (100 people), and 5% (1,000 people) discount coupons on a first-come, first-served basis from the event page at 11 a.m. daily. The coupon giveaway event will run until the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday on the 30th.
