Riot Games' first-person tactical shooting game (FPS) 'Valorant' unveiled a large-scale update and roadmap for the 2025 season on the 13th.

The 2025 season consists of a total of six ActROs, with various content provided in each ActRO, including ▲competitive matches ▲new battle pass ▲premier. In particular, it will closely integrate gameplay and esports by adopting a map rotation structure identical to the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). The map configuration will be updated whenever the ActRO changes, and the rotation information applicable to the next ActRO can be confirmed immediately after the start of the new ActRO.

New agents will also be added. Tejo, a reconnaissance agent from Colombia, released on the 9th, possesses a combat initiation ability to disrupt enemy lines using the ultimate ability 'Armageddon.' In addition, two more new agents are expected to be introduced within the year.

A new decorative item 'Flex' will also be introduced for the first time. Flex is a portable object that allows players to express their individuality, and it will be offered free to all players at the start of the season. Players can also obtain additional Flex items through the battle pass.

Additionally, a new skin series 'EX.O,' featuring neon lights and a cybernetic theme, has been revealed. These skins can be applied to ▲Vandal ▲Sheriff ▲Specter ▲Outlaw ▲melee weapons, characterized by a design inspired by science fiction.

Andy Ho, the overall director at Riot Games, noted, '2025 is a special year as Valorant celebrates its 5th anniversary,' adding, 'We have prepared a large-scale update and various new content that will satisfy players, so we ask for your great interest.'
