AhnLab's threat intelligence platform 'AhnLab TIP' has enhanced threat information by adding specialized content categories for operational technology and industrial control systems (OT·ICS), the company announced on the 27th.
With this update, AhnLab TIP provides key threat weekly reports published by the Asia-Pacific-based OT cyber threat information sharing and response cooperation organization 'OT-ISAC.' It also allows displaying associated software vulnerabilities (CVE) when querying indicators of compromise such as files, URLs, and IPs. This enables a broad verification of whether files and CVE codes related to vulnerabilities could impact the system, allowing for proactive threat response.
Additionally, AhnLab provides an annual security issue report based on extensive threat intelligence every year-end. This year's annual report includes various security issues that occurred from the 4th quarter of last year to the 3rd quarter of this year, as well as the trends for this year. It also features forecasts for major cyber security threats from AhnLab's expert group for the new year.
Kim Chang-hee, Deputy Minister of AhnLab's Product Service Planning Office, said, 'AhnLab TIP serves as a content portal that provides extensive security threat information linked with the company's various security solutions and platforms.' He added, 'We will continue to provide insights that can practically respond to evolving threats by consistently enhancing threat intelligence.'
