During a phone interview with NBC on the same day, President Trump responded to a question about how long the ceasefire would last, saying, "I think it will be unlimited."

He also stated that the war between Israel and Iran has completely ended, saying, "I do not believe that the two countries will shoot at each other again."

Regarding the ceasefire agreement, he said, "It is a great day for the world. A great day for the United States and a great day for the Middle East," and added, "I am very happy to have been able to complete this."

Earlier, President Trump stated through social media (SNS) that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire. He said, "Iran will start the ceasefire first, and Israel will start the ceasefire 12 hours later."

Iran also agrees to the ceasefire agreement. Reuters reported, citing a senior Iranian official, that Iran agreed to the oil production proposed by the United States, mediated by Qatar.

This ceasefire came about after President Trump requested Qatar's king to persuade Iran, indicating that Israel agreed to the ceasefire. Reuters reported that "Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, secured final agreement on the ceasefire through a currency with Iran."
