The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement that morning noting, "Based on the successful achievement of operational objectives against Iran and complete cooperation with President Trump, Israel has agreed to the president's bilateral ceasefire proposal."

It added, "Israel will respond strongly to any ceasefire violations." The Prime Minister's Office also stated that Israel has removed immediate and existential threats in Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile sectors.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu convened a Cabinet meeting overnight and assessed that all objectives of the 'Rising Lion' military operation against Iran have been achieved and even exceeded. The 'Rising Lion' operation refers to the campaign launched by Israel on the 12th to target Iran's major military and nuclear facilities.

He also expressed gratitude toward President Trump. The Prime Minister's Office stated, "Israel appreciates President Trump and the United States for supporting Israel in defense and participating in eradicating the Iranian nuclear threat."

Earlier, President Trump first announced the news of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran through social media (SNS), followed by Iran's state-run media reporting that "a ceasefire has begun after four attacks targeting Israel." However, Iranian authorities did not officially comment on the ceasefire agreement.
