According to the Associated Press and other reports on the 21st (local time), Iranian media reported that the "Fordow nuclear facility was attacked by enemy forces."
Iran's IRNA news agency and TASS reported, citing authorities from Qom province, that the air defense system had been activated following the attack on the nuclear facility early that morning.
According to Iranian media, the nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz have also been attacked.
Earlier, President Trump stated on his social media platform Truth Social that he had successfully completed an attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow, and that "all U.S. aircraft are currently leaving Iranian airspace and returning safely."
On that day, the host of Iranian state TV warned, "All American citizens or military personnel in the region are now legitimate targets."
