Former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, who faced 'divorce rumors,' said, "I’m glad I didn't have a son."

Michelle appeared on a radio podcast with her brother Craig Robinson and said, "Because (if I had a son) he would have been Barack Obama," the UK daily Telegraph reported on the 20th (local time).

When the host of the podcast said, "A little Barack would have been really cool," Michelle replied, "No, I think I would have felt sorry for the kid."

Michelle also made remarks that seemed to criticize her husband, who has been devoted to golf since leaving office. He said, "Parenting is like fly fishing. I’ve never done fly fishing, but it seems like it’s all in the wrist. It requires a very delicate balance," and added, "It’s not just tossing it and reeling it in. Let’s go do some fly fishing. It’s better than golf."

Recently, Michelle was spotted on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, accompanied only by their two daughters (Sasha, Malia). The rumors of their divorce began to spread this year when former President Obama attended the funerals of former President Jimmy Carter and the inauguration of President Donald Trump alone.

Michelle has denied the divorce rumors, stating, "People don't understand the choices I've made and assume I’ve divorced my husband. If there were issues with my husband, everyone would have known about it," and earlier this month praised him as a 'wonderful father.'
