Amid the ongoing military clashes between Israel and Iran, 26 of our citizens and their family members staying in Israel were evacuated to Jordan under government assistance on the 19th.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "26 of our citizens and their family members (25 citizens and 1 family member with Israeli nationality) safely arrived in Jordan by land using transportation provided by our government."
They passed through the Jordan border checkpoint accompanied by staff from the Embassy of Israel and are currently reported to be on their way to the capital, Amman.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dispatched a rapid response team to Jordan to support the safe evacuation of our citizens. They are expected to provide accommodation and information on return flights.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized, "Considering that the travel alert in those countries was raised to level 3 (departure recommendation) on the 17th, we strongly urge our citizens to be particularly mindful of their safety and to depart promptly."
