The family business of U.S. President Donald Trump, the 'Trump Organization,' has entered the telecommunications industry.

On the 16th (local time), Trump Organization announced that it will launch an unlimited 5G plan called the '47 Plan' through its own brand, 'Trump Mobile.' Trump Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that uses the networks of the three major telecom companies in the U.S. The '47 Plan' offers unlimited currency, texts, data, 24-hour emergency service, and telemedicine services for $47.45 per month (approximately 64,000 won). The number '47' signifies President Trump.

Trump Organization also stated that it plans to launch the 'T1 Phone,' a smartphone based on the Android operating system, in August. The T1 Phone will be priced at $499 (approximately 670,000 won) and features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel camera, with the phrase 'MAGA' (Make America Great Again) on the front and the American flag on the back. Trump Mobile explained that the T1 Phone is designed and manufactured in the U.S.

Eric Trump, senior vice president of Trump Organization, noted, 'Trump Mobile will change the game,' adding that it will provide the highest level of quality and service based on the America First movement. Trump Organization has operated a variety of businesses, including real estate development, hotel management, and golf courses, and has recently expanded into a licensing business model that offers the 'Trump brand.'

Trump Organization has attempted to expand its business during Trump's second term in office, leading to concerns about conflicts of interest raised by some, including Democrats.
