U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 15th (local time) regarding the escalating Middle East crisis due to the conflict between Israel and Iran that he urged both sides to negotiate but added, 'Sometimes countries have to fight first to solve problems.'
Before departing for the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Canada, Trump met with reporters at the White House and stated, 'I hope an agreement is reached (between Israel and Iran). I think it’s time to negotiate.'
He continued, 'I will watch what happens,' adding, 'I believe now is the right time for negotiations.'
When asked if he demanded Iran to stop its airstrikes on Israel, he replied, 'I don’t want to talk about that issue.'
Trump also expressed his intention to continue defending Israel, a U.S. ally in the Middle East, from Iranian retaliation strikes.
In response to a question about whether the U.S. could announce a new trade agreement at the G7 summit, he noted, 'We have very good agreements,' adding, 'All we have to do is send a SEOHAN ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION, and that’s the part you have to pay for.'
He added, 'However, I believe we can achieve several new trade agreements.'
This is interpreted as meaning that the U.S. could unilaterally send 'trade SEOHAN ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION' specifying reciprocal tariff rates to countries with no progress in negotiations.
Earlier, Trump mentioned during his visit to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on the 11th that 'in about ten days or two weeks, I will send SEOHAN ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION to countries,' stating, 'This is a deal, and you can accept or reject it.'
