Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump held discussions regarding the Israel-Iran military conflict and peace negotiations in Ukraine.

On the 14th (local time), according to TASS and Reuters, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Kremlin, stated during a briefing that the two leaders had a phone call focusing on Middle East issues for about 50 minutes. He said, “A meaningful and productive conversation took place.”

He noted that President Putin condemned Israel's military operations against Iran to President Trump, who described the situation in the Middle East as “very unstable.” The two leaders did not rule out the possibility of resuming negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program.

Additionally, President Putin reportedly explained to President Trump the status of the implementation of agreements from the peace negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegations held in Istanbul, particularly regarding the exchange of prisoners of war.
