The Israel Defense Forces refused to answer questions regarding the timing of the airstrike operations against Iran.
According to reports from Reuters and others, an official from the Israel Defense Forces did not respond on the 15th (local time) to questions about how long the airstrikes against Iran would continue.
Instead, they said, "There are still many targets for airstrikes in Iran," adding, "We attacked about 80 targets in Tehran last night (14th)." The official also noted that they had attacked the chief of staff of the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen the previous night.
In a statement that day, the Israel Defense Forces said, "50 fighter jets flew over Tehran from the night of the 14th to the 15th, attacking infrastructure and facilities related to Iran's nuclear program," and "The 80 or so targets included the Ministry of National Defense headquarters and the Defense Innovation Research Institute for Nuclear Projects (SPND)."
They reported that the total number of targets attacked in Iran over three days since the 13th was over 720.
Local Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in Tehran not only during the night attacks but also during the day on the 15th.
