A story has emerged about a woman who avoided an Air India passenger plane crash in India because she was unable to board the flight on time due to traffic congestion.

On the 12th (local time), according to reports from the UK Daily Mail and others, an Indian woman named Bhumi Chauhan was supposed to board Air India flight AI171 to London at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, India. However, she arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic congestion and avoided the accident.

Chauhan told local media, "I was shocked to hear the news, and I felt my whole body trembling," adding, "Hearing the news thus far makes me feel like my head is empty."

She continued, "I couldn't board the flight because of a 10-minute difference. I was lucky. I thank God."

She was reportedly planning to return to London, where she currently resides, after finishing her vacation.

Meanwhile, the Air India flight AI171 that she intended to board crashed just 30 seconds after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of 241 of the 242 passengers on board.
