On the 4th (local time), the Associated Press reported that President Trump signed a proclamation containing this information.

According to the proclamation, the countries from which entry into the United States is banned are ▲Afghanistan ▲Myanmar ▲Chad ▲Republic of the Congo ▲Equatorial Guinea ▲Eritrea ▲Haiti ▲Iran ▲Libya ▲Somalia ▲Sudan ▲Yemen, totaling 12 countries.

The entry ban will take effect from 12:01 a.m. on the 9th.

In addition, President Trump has partially restricted the entry of nationals from 7 countries including ▲Burundi ▲Cuba ▲Laos ▲Sierra Leone ▲Togo ▲Turkmenistan ▲Venezuela.

However, contrary to a previous report by The New York Times (NYT) in March, North Korea is reportedly not mentioned in this proclamation.

President Trump noted through the proclamation, "We will ensure that radical Islamic terrorists do not enter our country." He issued an executive order banning the entry of nationals from Islamic countries during his first term in 2017.

At that time, entry from nationals of 7 countries including ▲Iraq ▲Syria ▲Iran ▲Sudan ▲Libya ▲Somalia ▲Yemen was banned, and individuals from North Korea and some Venezuelan government officials were also affected by the entry ban.
