On the 24th (local time), according to reports from foreign news agencies including the AFP, Russia's drone attacks continued overnight in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The Ukrainian military stated that Russia sent 14 ballistic missiles and 250 drones during the night of the 23rd to 24th.

Mykola KALASHNYK said on Telegram on the 25th, "Three people were killed in the enemy's attack last night." Earlier, Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, noted that at least 10 people were injured due to the Russian military's attack and urged residents to stay in shelters.

The Russian airstrike occurred just hours after the two countries began the exchange of prisoners. Russia and Ukraine agreed to exchange 1,000 war prisoners each during negotiations held in Istanbul, Turkey, on the 16th, and exchanged up to 390 prisoners on the 23rd and 24th.

The Russian capital, Moscow, was also targeted by Ukrainian drone attacks. Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, stated that 12 drones approaching Moscow were intercepted. As a result, aircraft operations were restricted at least at four airports, including Sheremetyevo, Moscow's hub airport.
