The delegations from both countries resumed talks today, following the previous day's meeting on the 10th. The delegation led by Scott Morris, the United States Minister of Treasury, and He Lifeng, the Vice Premier of the China State Council, engaged in high-level trade negotiations held in Geneva, Switzerland. This is to discuss tariff reductions related to the reciprocal tariff policy initiated during the Trump administration.

President Trump noted, “We have made great progress,” but specific results of the negotiations were not disclosed.

According to sources familiar with the internal situation, the delegations from both countries met again today to resume talks. This day is originally the scheduled end date of the meetings. Depending on the outcomes of today’s negotiations, there is a possibility of reaching an agreement.
