Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a ceasefire discussion with Ukraine.

According to the Associated Press, President Putin stated on the 11th (local time) at a press conference at the Kremlin in Moscow that he "proposes to resume negotiations in Istanbul, Turkey, on the 15th."

He emphasized that "Russia has continuously proposed a ceasefire" and that "has never once refused dialogue with Ukraine."

In particular, President Putin claimed that "Ukraine bears the responsibility for the suspension of negotiations in 2022." He also used the expression "let's resume the previously suspended negotiations unconditionally."

This proposal came right after the leaders of the UK, France, Germany, and Poland wrapped up their visit to Kyiv the day before, pressuring Russia to accept a "30-day ceasefire or face increased sanctions."
