This meeting is a key forum that leads practical consultations and decisions on the main agendas of the APEC summit and ministerial meetings. More than 3,200 participants are expected to attend this meeting, particularly as ministerial meetings in three areas—employment and labor, education, and trade—will be held concurrently, bringing over 60 ministerial-level officials to Jeju.

Major figures from international organizations, including the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the APEC Secretariat, are also expected to visit.
