The social media platform 'Yiyuantantian,' affiliated with China Central Television (CCTV), cited sources, saying, "The United States hopes to negotiate tariffs with China."

Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that negotiations with China are underway, but each time he makes a statement, China has denied that negotiations are taking place. In this regard, Yiyuantantian analyzed that the more the U.S. makes related claims, the more it reveals its desire to expedite the negotiations.

Yiyuantantian noted, "The Trump administration is facing various pressures such as economic and public opinion," adding, "It is clear that the more urgent party is the United States." They continued, "China believes there is no need to engage in dialogue before the U.S. takes substantive measures, but if the U.S. wishes to make contact, it does not harm China at this stage." They further added, "China must observe the true intentions of the U.S. and seize the initiative in negotiations."
