President Donald Trump reiterated his criticism on the 24th (local time), calling Harvard University "anti-Semitic and a far-left institution."
On that day, President Trump posted on his social media platform "Truth Social," stating that "like many other institutions, it accepts students who wish to divide America globally."
President Trump claimed that Harvard is a "Liberal mess" that allows a certain group of mentally ill individuals to enter classrooms and spread fake outrage and hatred, asserting that "Harvard is a threat to democracy."
President Trump also made remarks targeting attorney William Burke, who is part of Harvard's legal team. Trump noted that "he's not that great anyway" and expressed hope that "my big and beautiful company, currently run by my sons, will fire him as soon as possible."
Burke, a former legal advisor in the George W. Bush administration, was hired as a senior external ethics consultant for the Trump Organization last January. On that day, Eric, Trump's second son, stated in a news release to USA Today that Burke had been dismissed.
