The last destination of the youngest American to visit all 195 countries in the world was North Korea.
According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 18th, Cameron Morphed (25) recently completed a tour of all 195 countries after participating in the Pyongyang International Marathon held in North Korea. The Pyongyang International Marathon was held on the 6th, commemorating Kim Il-sung's birthday for the first time in six years.
Morphed, who completed the 10 km race, said, “It was the craziest experience of my life,” adding, “The adrenaline rush when entering a stadium with 50,000 spectators was unlike anything else.”
Morphed noted, “North Korea is my 195th and last country to visit,” and said, “Based on various criteria, I am the youngest person to have traveled around the world.”
The Guinness World Records lists American Lexie Alford as the “youngest person to travel to every sovereign nation.” He visited every country at the age of 21 in 2019.
However, the traveler platform Nomad Mania recognized Morphed as the “youngest person to visit all 193 United Nations member countries.” This is because Alford did not actually visit North Korea and only went to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), which was not counted in the records.
