Time included former representative Lee in the leaders section of the 'Time 100' list announced on the 16th (local time), alongside U.S. President Donald Trump, Argentine President Javier Milei, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

Since 2004, Time has selected and announced the 100 individuals or organizations that have most significantly changed the world for better or worse each year.

In addition to former representative Lee and national leaders, the leaders section also included U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as well as U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. and Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk.

BLACKPINK member Rosé was included in the pioneers section. She gained immense popularity in the global music market last year with the song 'Apartment,' released in collaboration with American pop singer Bruno Mars. British actress Lily Collins praised Rosé in a piece for Time, describing her as 'a dynamic singer-songwriter and a member of the world's top girl group,' adding that 'she has the ability to captivate an audience as a solo artist on a packed stage.'
