After OpenAI launched its 'ChatGPT-4o image generation,' creating Studio Ghibli-style profile pictures and transforming pets into human likenesses has gained popularity.
On the 15th (local time), the New York Post reported, "People are using ChatGPT to turn their pets into humans," highlighting this trend.
A video posted on TikTok, which transformed an Irish Setter dog into an image of a woman with red hair wearing a green sweater, recorded nearly 2 million views.
Images transforming not only dogs but also various animals like hamsters, turtles, and cats into human forms are being shared on social media (SNS).
The New York Post explained, "The process is simple; after logging into ChatGPT, input a high-resolution photo of your pet and its gender, then enter the command, 'What would my pet look like if it were human?'"
Experts predict that as generative AI technology advances, a greater variety of image generation forms will become trendy in the future. However, due to the nature of memes, they expect that the period of popularity will be short.
