Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, who has at least 14 children, is known to hold the view that a higher number of intelligent people on Earth is essential for preserving civilization. Musk's active pursuit of having more children is said to be his own solution to prevent the collapse of civilization.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 15th, citing influencer Ashley St. Clair and others, who claimed Musk had given birth to his 13th child.

The belief that civilization will collapse if the birth rate declines aligns with the widely held perspective of 'pro-natalism' in the American right. In particular, it is reported that Musk is concerned that the birth rate in third-world countries is higher than in the U.S. and Europe. Therefore, he argues that educated individuals or countries should have more children. In fact, Musk has mentioned the birth rate crisis several times through social media and interviews, citing South Korea as a representative example.

According to St. Clair, Musk texted that it seems he would need to use surrogates if he wants to increase the number of children to 'legion' levels before the end of the world.

Musk is reported to have also donated sperm with the purpose of increasing the number of children. In 2023, when a famous woman from Japan requested sperm donation for pregnancy rather than romance, he accepted.

Musk is also said to be involved in the birth method with the aim of maximizing the intelligence of his children. He reportedly told St. Clair to give birth by cesarean section, stating, 'Natural birth limits the size of the baby's brain, and cesarean section allows for a larger brain.'

Additionally, there are claims that Musk is recruiting women to give birth to children through his ownership of X (formerly Twitter). St. Clair, who gave birth to the 13th child, is also a conservative influencer. Musk showed interest in St. Clair's posts, and after exchanging messages, they ended up having a child together.

Tiffany Pong, a cryptocurrency influencer and a friend of St. Clair, is the person who received a request from Musk to bear his child. Initially, Musk liked Pong's posts on X and started commenting. After gaining Musk's attention, Pong received a tremendous number of followers, and her revenue skyrocketed. Then, Musk asked Pong, 'Are you interested in bearing my child?'

After learning that Pong did not accept his proposal and revealed the matter to an acquaintance, Musk unfollowed her. It is reported that Pong's revenue plummeted afterward.

Meanwhile, after St. Clair gave birth to Musk's child, he proposed a financial support contract of $15 million (approximately 2.14 billion won) in exchange for keeping silent about the child's father. The terms included returning the full amount of $15 million if she breached the contract.

After St. Clair publicly announced on social media that she had given birth to Musk's child, Musk withdrew the offer for financial support. He also reduced the child support to $20,000 (approximately 28.5 million won) per month. Previously, St. Clair claimed that she had been warned by Musk's representatives that 'Musk is a kind and generous person, but if the woman who gave birth to his child chooses legal procedures, worse outcomes always ensue.'
