On the 8th, Tokyo Electric Power Company stated that it plans to discharge contaminated water seven times, totaling 54,600 tons, from this April to March next year. This is the same scale as the previous year.

Tokyo Electric Power Company started discharging contaminated water in August 2023. As of last month, the amount of contaminated water stored at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is about 1.28 million tons.
