Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has stated that he will not refuse a paternity test from the woman who claimed to have given birth to his 13th child.
According to The Hill and others on the 31st (local time), Musk said on that day through his X account, "I don't know if the child is mine or not, but I do not oppose verification," adding, "a court order is not necessary." Musk's remarks came after reports that a court had ordered him to take a paternity test.
Musk is embroiled in a legal battle over child support issues with influencer Ashley St. Clair, who claims to have given birth to his 13th child.
St. Clair claims that Musk has reduced child support. In response, Musk said, "I am not sure, but I gave Ashley $2.5 million (approximately 370 million won) and I send $500,000 (approximately 70 million won) annually."
St. Clair revealed in February this year through X that she "gave birth to Musk's child five months ago." She stated at the time that Musk had "only met the child three times so far and had no involvement in the child's upbringing or care," and filed a lawsuit for paternity verification and custody rights.
St. Clair retorted regarding Musk's statement, "Elon, when I suggested doing a paternity test before the child you named was born, you refused."
Additionally, she claimed, "You did not send me money; rather, you sent money for the child you thought was necessary, and because I 'disobeyed,' you withdrew most of it to punish me."
Before St. Clair revealed that she had given birth to Musk's child, Musk was known to have fathered 12 children.
Two weeks after the claim of the 13th child emerged, Sibon Gillis, an executive at Neuralink, the neuroscience startup founded by Musk, revealed that she had given birth to a fourth child with Musk.
