The Renault Group board has appointed Duncan Minto, 50, as temporary chief executive officer (CEO) of Renault S.A., effective July 15, 2025. The term of the temporary CEO Duncan Minto lasts until a new CEO is officially appointed.
The temporary CEO Duncan Minto, who currently serves as the chief financial officer (CFO) of the Renault Group, will be responsible for the overall usual management tasks alongside the chairperson of the board, Jean-Dominique Senard.
Duncan Minto, the temporary CEO from Scotland, has been working at the Renault Group since 1997, accumulating extensive experience in finance through various positions in European countries, the Asia-Pacific region, and different brands under the group. He is particularly regarded as having a deep understanding of the challenges the company faces.
The selection process for the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Renault S.A. is being conducted under the supervision of the Governance and Remuneration Committee. The Renault Group is set to announce its results for the first half of 2025 on July 31.
