Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 15th that it will launch the 2026 Casper, a facelifted model of its subcompact sport utility vehicle (SUV), and the 2026 Casper Electric. With the launch of the facelifted models, Hyundai has enhanced product competitiveness by standardizing infotainment features and safety and convenience specifications across trims.
All trims of the 2026 Casper feature LED interior lighting, and all models, including the van model, come with an interior fire extinguisher added. From the essential trim, a 10.25-inch navigation system, automatic dimming (ECM) rearview mirror, and LED sun visor lamp for the front seat are standard, while the smart trim is equipped with a manual dimming (D&N) rearview mirror and driver’s side LED sun visor lamp.
For the 2026 Casper Electric, all trims come standard with an ECM rearview mirror and an LED sun visor lamp for the front seat, along with the addition of an interior fire extinguisher. From the inspiration trim, advanced driver assistance features are supported, including highway driving assist, navigation-based smart cruise control (for safety zones and curvy roads), and forward collision-avoidance assist (for oncoming vehicles at intersections and head-on collisions).
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, “The Casper is Hyundai's representative entry-level SUV with a robust design and a variety of safety and convenience features,” adding, “The 2026 Casper and 2026 Casper Electric, which return with enhanced product value, will offer customers even more attractive choices.”
The 2026 Casper starts at 14.93 million won, while the 2026 Casper Electric starts at 27.87 million won.
