Hyundai Motor Company has gained a response from broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk for its 'Nexo Love Call Campaign' aimed at sharing an eco-friendly hydrogen mobility vision.
The Nexo Love Call Campaign, which began last month, suggests that the public, including celebrities from various fields, choose the hydrogen vehicle 'The All-New Nexo' and aims to create a consensus on the importance of hydrogen mobility.
On the 14th, Hyundai Motor Company released three videos of Yoo Jae-suk driving the hydrogen vehicle 'The All-New Nexo.' The videos feature Yoo Jae-suk conversing with Hyundai Motor Company employees about eco-friendliness, hydrogen energy, and the All-Electric Range (AER).
Earlier, Hyundai Motor Company drew attention by publishing lines and images suggesting Yoo Jae-suk through outdoor advertisements installed in five locations in Seoul, including Gangnam-daero and Dosan-daero, as part of the campaign. Yoo Jae-suk later released a video on the 7th that said, 'A journey of hydrogen mobility without CO2, I, Yoo Jae-suk, will also go together with Nexo.'
The video released that day emphasized that 'The All-New Nexo' is an eco-friendly car that emits only water without CO2. It also captured Yoo Jae-suk resonating with eco-friendly hydrogen energy and being amazed by the Nexo's performance, which can drive 720 km on a 5-minute charge. In the final scene, Yoo Jae-suk said, 'That’s why I drive Nexo. I really drive it.'
'The All-New Nexo' is a complete model change of the Nexo, launched after 7 years since its release in March 2018. The selling prices are ▲Exclusive 76.44 million won ▲Exclusive Special 79.28 million won ▲Prestige 83.45 million won. With government subsidies (22.5 million won) and local government subsidies (7 to 15 million won), it can be purchased for as low as 38.94 million won.
