The engine oil brand 'S-Oil 7' of S-Oil Total Energies Lubricants has ranked first in the '2025 Premium Brand Index (KS-PBI)' in the engine oil institutional sector.
S-Oil Total Energies Lubricants, a joint venture between S-Oil and the global comprehensive energy corporation TotalEnergies, announced on the 14th that it has reached the top of the KS-PBI engine oil institutional sector.
KS-PBI is a brand value assessment index jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business School, which selects premium brands by industry based on consumer surveys.
S-Oil 7 is equipped with excellent engine protection and lubrication performance based on high-quality lubricating oil. The lineup is composed of Gold, Red, Blue, and Black based on driving purpose and fuel type, and is categorized into grades #9, #7, and #5 depending on performance level.
There is also a dedicated eco-friendly vehicle 'Seven EV HYBE' that is a 100% synthetic oil-based product, featuring low-speed pre-ignition prevention and chain wear reduction capabilities. It also applied the latest international standards that came into effect in March of this year domestically first.
Patrice de Beme, the representative of S-Oil Total Energies Lubricants, said, "The first-place award is the result of efforts for quality innovation and customer trust," adding, "We will continue to grow as a trusted brand with products and services that exceed expectations."
