Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI)'s subsidiary Korea Aerospace Service (KAEMS) announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement to expand its contract for maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) services with Gloria Airlines and to enhance its competitiveness. KAEMS, established in 2018, is the only government-designated MRO specialist in Korea and serves as KAI's aviation maintenance subsidiary.

Bae Gi-hong, CEO of KAEMS, noted, "We provide operational maintenance and heavy maintenance services to 20 domestic and international airlines, including Air China, and we will actively work to develop the MRO industry as a future growth engine."

KAEMS is involved in medium and heavy maintenance and performance enhancement projects for helicopters of the Air Force’s F-16 fighters, as well as police, coast guard, fire department, Forest Service, and Marine Corps.
