The Genesis large sedan G90 has been selected as the official event and protocol vehicle for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
Genesis announced on the 14th that it will supply a total of 47 G90s to Kuwait, including 40 vehicles for event operations and 7 for protocol use. The supplied vehicles have been manufactured according to specifications and designs approved by the Kuwait Traffic Department. A Genesis representative noted, "This was achieved based on the Kuwaiti government's trust in the quality and safety of Genesis."
The G90 is the representative large sedan of Genesis. The G90 to be delivered to Kuwait is equipped with a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, multi-chamber air suspension, and a rear-wheel steering system. Genesis explained that it is optimized as a protocol vehicle for high-ranking officials, featuring advanced convenience specifications such as easy close doors, virtual 3D surround sound, and mood curator.
Genesis expects to further strengthen its brand presence through this selection. Previously, Genesis provided the GV80 to the Dubai Police as a patrol car in 2021 and recently supported the G80 electrified model.
