Kia announced on the 14th that it has launched the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) 'The 2026 Sorento.'
The 2026 Sorento features improvements in overall marketability, including enhanced advanced driver assistance specifications.
Kia equipped all trims with Lane Keeping Assist 2 and steering wheel grip detection as standard. Additionally, the Kia Digital Key 2 and touch-type outside door handles, which are popular with customers, have been made standard starting from the popular Noble trim.
The 2026 Sorento is fitted with a new design 4-spoke steering wheel, and ambient lighting has been expanded to the first-row door map pockets, further enhancing the interior's luxury, according to Kia.
New 19-inch wheels have also been added. They are available starting from the signature trim, and the 2WD model can receive environmental vehicle tax benefits even if the 19-inch wheels are chosen.
Additionally, Kia has changed the name of the existing Gravity trim to 'X-Line,' maximizing the robust feel unique to the design-specialized trim X-Line by adding black emblems and wheel caps.
The sales prices for the 2026 Sorento range from 35.8 million to 42.6 million won for the 2.5 gasoline turbo model, and from 37.5 million to 44.31 million won for the 2.2 diesel model. The 1.6 gasoline turbo hybrid 2WD model ranges from 38.96 million to 45.59 million won, while the 4WD model ranges from 42.25 million to 48.88 million won. All prices reflect a 3.5% special consumption tax and environmental vehicle tax benefits.
