The Hyundai 'IONIQ 6 N' staged a brilliant drift show at the Goodwood Festival in the UK. It was a successful debut.
The Hyundai N brand unveiled the 'IONIQ 5 N' for the first time at the 2023 Goodwood Festival and showcased its second high-performance electric vehicle, the 'IONIQ 6 N (IONIQ 6 N)', at the same venue. The 'IONIQ 6 N' beautifully marked the symbolic moment celebrating the brand's 10th anniversary.
On Oct. 10, the '2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed' unveiled the IONIQ 6 N, a model that encapsulates the technology and performance of the award-winning IONIQ 5 N, based on Hyundai N's motorsport experience and technology accumulated through the 'Rolling Lab' project.
Hyundai showcased the high-performance design and technology of the IONIQ 6 N to automotive fans around the world, expanding the domain of electrified high performance.
Manfred Harrer, Vice President of Hyundai's Vehicle Development Division, said, "The IONIQ 6 N was developed by actively incorporating feedback from fans, customers, and engineers, based on the N philosophy of ‘Fun to Drive.’ I hope more people will experience true driving pleasure through this car."
Lee Young-ho, Vice President of Hyundai's Global Business Management Division, noted, "Hyundai N will continue to maintain its unique identity while providing customers with a wider range of choices. At the Goodwood Festival, Hyundai showcased the IONIQ 6 N along with the IONIQ 6 N equipped with N performance parts and the drift-optimized IONIQ 6 N drift spec, highlighting the motorsport versatility and various possibilities of the IONIQ 6 N, capturing the high interest of global automotive fans.
In particular, the IONIQ 6 N participated in the main event Hillclimb course symbolizing the Goodwood Festival, making a strong impression.
The highlight of the day was the 'N Moment Performance Session,' where two rally cars symbolizing N's motorsport experience, the 2014 Hyundai i20 WRC and the 2024 i20 N Rally 1 Hybrid, along with the Rolling Lab RN24, IONIQ 6 N, IONIQ 6 N drift spec, and IONIQ 6 N equipped with dedicated N performance parts, drove together on the Hillclimb course to celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary.
The 'N Moment Performance Session,' exclusively for N models, was a stage that concisely showcased the process as Hyundai has developed the unique high-performance technology of N and its vision for the new future.
