On the 11th, the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups announced that it held the '2025 Bizcool-Youth Entrepreneurship Meetup Day' at the main campus of the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy in Ansan.
This event was organized for students to directly experience the startup scene, allowing them to develop creativity and entrepreneurship. More than 60 participants attended, including Sanggoe High School students, enrollees of the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, and professors from the academy.
Students participating in the event toured the incubation facilities of the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, experiencing actual startup spaces, studios, prototyping rooms, and more. They also engaged in group mentoring with professors from the academy and mentors who are young CEOs, learning about the commercialization process and experiences of success and failure.
A Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups official noted, "The Bizcool program and the 'Youth Entrepreneurship' textbook education play a role beyond indirect experience of entrepreneurship for youths; it helps them define and solve problems on their own, acting as a catalyst for their growth into future innovators. We will continue to utilize various startup infrastructures, such as the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, to expand programs linking schools with the startup scene."
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups has operated the Bizcool program targeting over 400 elementary, middle, and high schools since 2002, cultivating entrepreneurship among youths. Additionally, it has supported the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, providing commercialization funds, technical education, and expert mentoring to foster innovative young CEOs.
