Kim Seung-yeon, chairman of Hanwha Group, delivered gifts of encouragement to the Hanwha Eagles players and staff, who secured the top spot in the first half of the regular season of professional baseball on the 10th.
On that day, Kim gifted T-bone steaks to not only the first-team players but also to Future League players and all the staff, wishing them good health during the hot summer. He also provided AirPods Max to the 80 members of the first-team players and staff, who travel frequently during games for performance analysis and rest.
Kim wrote on a KARD with a handwritten signature, "After a time of endurance, the Eagles are soaring higher than ever," adding, "Let’s aim for an even greater ascent and claim the top position in the second half."
The Hanwha Eagles players expressed their gratitude for Kim's encouragement and vowed to achieve good results in the second half.
Team captain Chae Eun-sung said, "We are all grateful for the chairman's affectionate support, from the support for building the new stadium to the gifts for the players, and we are entering the games with that sentiment." He added, "In the second half, we will do our best to achieve good results to meet the support from the chairman and all members of Hanwha Group and Eagles fans."
