Spintec is a startup that provides senior-customized services and technology-based health management platforms. Founded by CEO Kim Il-jun in 2021, the company offers various services to support the leisure, health, and convenience of seniors.
CEO Kim aimed to provide customized services encompassing the entire senior lifecycle, moving beyond the limited access of existing care services. "Existing care services mainly target seniors with health issues, such as home care and nursing homes, but we provide services that all seniors can enjoy."
Spintec's core service is a platform called 'Wellness Service,' which processes health information and data of seniors to provide customized products and services. CEO Kim stated, "It is important to provide an environment where seniors can easily check their health information and receive product recommendations that suit their needs," adding, "We are offering services by recommending products tailored to the health status of seniors using data from the National Health Insurance Service."
Spintec has also introduced a third-party payment system that allows caregivers to make payments on behalf of seniors who have difficulty with online shopping mall payments. Seniors can select desired products, and caregivers can proceed with the payment to facilitate more convenient service usage.
Spintec has focused not only on health management but also on leisure activities for seniors. CEO Kim noted, "Recognizing that the active senior service market, such as park golf, is rapidly growing, we developed the GoPark service," and stated, "We provide spaces where seniors can enjoy activities and have also built an online platform for this purpose." The GoPark service has already supported over 7,000 users and 400 groups, growing rapidly.
Spintec plans to enter the Japanese market early next year. CEO Kim stated, "The park golf market in Japan is 20 times larger than that of Korea and is rapidly growing with a senior focus." He added, "We plan to expand the export of domestic products in the park golf supplies market, which currently relies on Japanese products."
In the future, Spintec will focus on providing more sophisticated customized services through senior-specific healthcare AI technology, enhancing seniors' health, leisure, and quality of life. CEO Kim remarked, "We will continue to expand our service areas and help more seniors lead healthy and enjoyable lives through active senior services like park golf."
