CJ Logistics announced on the 4th that it has published its 2024 sustainability management report, which includes the achievements of its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management for the previous year.
This report has specified the disclosure content according to the standards of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and expanded the scope of disclosure.
CJ Logistics increased the range of data disclosure and detailed information about environmental management, labor practices, and organizational culture at its business sites.
Notably, it included climate risk analysis for key business sites in preparation for the Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act, which will be implemented in California next year.
It also highlighted that CJ Logistics recycled 119 tons of recyclable materials through its logistics network last year and recovered 10 tons of waste paper from its logistics centers to create 12,000 recycled boxes.
Regarding labor practices and organizational culture, it was noted that over 55 billion won was spent on employee maternity support funds, health check costs, children's education funds, and entrance congratulatory money from 2021 to last year.
In terms of operational systems, it was discussed that corporations transparently disclosed corporate information and board agenda items, while establishing practices for fair trade and anti-corruption guidelines through expanded ethics training.
