Kim Seung-yeon, chairman of Hanwha Group, visited the Hanwha Life Ballpark in Daejeon on 3rd and watched a game of the Hanwha Eagles. During a visit to Hanwha TotalEnergies' Daesan plant on June 17, Kim told employees, "See you soon in Daejeon," fulfilling that promise.
On that day, 746 employees from affiliates such as Hanwha TotalEnergies, Hanwha Aerospace, and Hanwha Global participated. Chairman Kim cheered for the Hanwha Eagles along with employees until the end of the 11th inning, shouting "Mighty Hanwha." Unfortunately, the game between the Hanwha Eagles and NC Dinos ended in a tie.
Chairman Kim's affection for the Hanwha Eagles is special. Since its establishment in 1986, he has continuously supported the team as its owner. In recent years, he has been actively investing, including consistently acquiring top players in the league. After visiting the ballpark last year, he has shown up to support the team directly for the fourth time this year as of this day.
