SK Group will hold the 'SK Icheon Forum' from August 18 to 20.
According to the business community on the 30th, SK Group has confirmed the dates for the Icheon Forum. The Icheon Forum is considered one of the group’s three major strategic meetings, along with the management strategy meeting held every June and the CEO meeting in October. Potential venues include the Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul.
At the Icheon Forum, SK Group will focus on discussions regarding medium- to long-term growth directions and future discourse. This year's theme is expected to be 'artificial intelligence (AI)' once again, following last year. Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, declared the 'transformation into an AI-centered corporation' at last year’s Icheon Forum.
During the management strategy meeting held in June this year, discussions were held regarding ways to create synergies at the group level related to the adoption and utilization of AI.
