BYD Korea announced on the 26th that as three months have passed since the first delivery of the BYD ATTO 3 in April, customers who have purchased the vehicle within three months or have reached a mileage of 5,000 km are urged to visit a nationwide BYD Auto official service center for a free regular inspection.
BYD Korea's free inspection service is a program designed to help customers operate their vehicles safely and comfortably by maintaining optimal performance and preventing potential failures. The first regular inspection is offered based on three months after the initial purchase or 5,000 km, and a total of four free regular inspection services can be received thereafter at intervals of one year or 20,000 km, two years or 40,000 km, and three years or 60,000 km.
During the regular inspection, BYD's professional technicians meticulously inspect a total of 39 items, including the vehicle's interior and exterior and the undercarriage. The inspection range covers the vehicle's appearance, lighting systems, power systems, high-voltage electrical components, high-voltage batteries, brakes, steering systems, airbags, seat belts, wheels and tires, as well as the overall software systems.
The free regular inspection operates on a reservation basis for the convenience of customers, and appointments can be made at a desired time through the BYD customer center. The inspection time takes about one hour, and customers can relax comfortably in a dedicated lounge provided at the service center. After the inspection, detailed guidance on the vehicle's condition and key inspection results will be provided by a professional service advisor. BYD Korea's free regular inspection service will also apply to other BYD passenger models that will be launched later, as well as the currently sold ATTO 3.
Jo In-cheol, head of the passenger vehicle division at BYD Korea, noted, "Regular inspections are fundamental for customer safety and reducing vehicle maintenance costs, and they are the best preventive measure. I urge customers who are eligible based on the vehicle ownership period or mileage to maintain their vehicles in optimal condition through regular inspections."
