Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on the 24th that it will conduct reconstruction volunteer activities at the 'Tugu Bhakti' school in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of its social contribution from the 23rd to the 25th.
A volunteer group of 27 KAI employees will participate in the construction over three days, engaging in mural creation, repairing desks and chairs, and maintaining the garden. They have also prepared a fund of 200 million won. Tugu Bhakti school is an integrated school attended by over 200 vulnerable preschool and elementary to middle school students.
Indonesia has been selected as the target country for this social contribution activity, 'Defense KAI,' as it is the largest export country for KAI's aircraft and a partner in the KF-21 project.
